Q. Where are you located?
A. We are located just west of the 405 between Wilshire and Santa Monica Blvds. We are 2 blocks east of Federal Avenue at the corner of Rochester And Butler Avenues.
Q. How is the neighborhood?
A. Convenient and fun! West Park Village is within walking distance of the Post Office, Public Library, Sheriff's department, and Courthouse. There's a great selection of nearby cafes as well as two small movie theaters. You will have excellent access to the 405 and the 10 freeways. We are 2.35 miles from UCLA. The boutiques of Brentwood, the fun of Santa Monica's Promenade and the stores of the Westside Pavillion are all within a few minutes drive.
Q. Do you have on-site parking?
A. We do have on-site parking that is assigned on an "as available" basis. Depending on the available location the parking is in a garage, carport or an open space. Additionally, we are located in a residential area with unrestricted street parking.
Q. Is West Park Village a gated community?
A. Yes, residents control access to the community via our Sentex intercom system.
Q. How large is West Park Village?
A. West Park is a community of just over 200 units built on over 21/2 city blocks.
Q. What's the property like?
A. At West Park The VA parkground is our backyard. The lantern lampposts illuminate a serene retreat. This village includes ponds, towering trees and lush landscaping.
Q. Are utilities included in the rent?
A. All of our units included water, trash and sewage. Depending on how a building is metered, a few units do include gas and electric charges as part of the rent, but the majority do not.
Q. Do you have security?
A. We have a courtesy service that patrols the property after the business office is closed for the evening. The service includes a toll-free contact number for our residents.
Q. Are dogs allowed?
A. Sorry, only indoor cats are allowed on the property.
Q. How old are the buildings?
A. The property was built in 1963 and has been lovingly maintained.
Q. What Special Activities are planned for the Residents?
A. We have a resident summer barbecue as well as Halloween treats and Holiday Celebrations. Our personalized newsletter delivered door-to-door on alternate months keeps our residents up-to-date. And our Early Bird Program rewards our residents just for paying their rent on-time!!!
